Decision 2007: You Vote, She Decides

So, in case you missed it Carlos and Leigh got new couches. However they are sectionals and can be set up in a variety of fun and interesting ways. Some set-ups are fashion, others are function and others are built for straight up comfort. So, please feel free the cast your vote on which you like the best.

The Classic

This is the classic I look. You have the three seater on the wall facing the TV and the loveseat on the other wall with the ottoman in the middle. Notice that the "no armrests" on the large piece. It could be a downfall to the model. I don't know what else can be said about this since this model has existed since the wall came down.
The Classic 2.0
The Classic 2.0 gives us armress on the large piece while making a safron lounge on the other wall (yes, i know it is not called a safron lounge, but that is what I was calling it all night and I liked it). The safron lounge would have pillows against the wall and allow for reclining to watch the television. This model required two pictures to capture the effect of the safron lounge.

The Carlos Special

The Carlos Special is a chase lounge on the far wall alllowing him to recline or sit up while watching FSC. It has an additional loveseat on the TV watching wall and a small chair that you see my feet coming from. The reason for the name of this model is because it s built around one person being able to watch soccer, other than that it sucks.

The Neo-ClassicThis is basically the classic flipped. We put the loveseat with ottoman on the TV wall and we put the monster couch on the far wall. It should be noted that the neo-classic really opens up the room and is a great model for entertaining.

The Reconciler
This little beauty was my idea. It is a room opener and can be used with a variety of different models. The reconciler is more of an option, and to employ it the parents would most likely need to purchase an extra section or two. However, it works at making the room into one room instead of two. Which brings us to the last model....

The Monster
Two guesses at whose brainchild this was. The Monster is pure comfort. It takes up lots of space and if you have personal space issues more than 3 people on it will make you nervous. It would be interesting if you could buy a few more pieces and make it an even bigger monster. Since some members of the family wouldn't go for Love Sacks I doubt they would go for this.

Update
The current set up at the House of I, is a combination. It has the two piece (with armrests) loveseat against the TV wall with ottoman, The safron lounge exactly as seen in the classic 2.0 and one piece of the reconciler (where the wine cabinet used to be.
