* What is the Rachel Zoe project and why am I watching it right now?
* I literally think that people say "literally" way too much
* To those that were unaware, I quit my old job at a bookstore that shall remain unnamed in July and have been teaching American History and Government as a long-term substitute teacher since August. This has been a good thing in every way. However, teaching is a very challenging job and I have much more respect for those who do this. But it's been great to be on the same schedule as the rest of the working world. I had completely forgotten how weekends are supposed to be.
* On a related note, I love football. Especially the college variety. Don't know what to expect from my alma mater but it's good to start 4-0. The upcoming game vs. Nebraska will be huge as we haven't really played anyone yet. Illinois clearly doesn't count.
* Ray now weighs about 105 pounds. And he's not fat. We did lots of swimming in the lake over the summer, which was super fun. He won't jump off the dock though. We'll have to work on that next summer.
* I did a half-marathon a couple weeks that I really didn't train for. Perhaps this wasn't the wisest decision but I did alright. I ran it with my friend Marianne though and she kicked my a**. She did really well (1:37 for those that care). I also did a Cross-Fit competition back in August which was an even worse decision. To those that do not know what Cross-Fit is I'll sum it up for you in one word = torture. That people actually pay to do. It was basically competing at working out. Which is strange. It was really fun though and all of the people at the games were super nice. I don't know if I'll do this again, I'm just not all that into working out to be good at working out. I think swimming burned me out on competing. Running is different, I think because it's such a solitary thing.
* Jojo is "so bored that her head is going to explode" right now. So bored that she's continuing to watch Rachel Zoe. The Rams game is on now but....yeah, this is probably better.
* I haven't showered since Friday morning.
* Neal has a sister named Gwynne. And perhaps a new daughter named Amanda.

I am so BORED! And somehow the TV channel just got switched to football. Which is fine except when I'm b.o.r.e.d.
I was literally JUST thinking about the death of Bloggy, and respect your valiant effort to resuscitate it. It seems there has been a definite lull in the blogosphere lately. I attribute this to the having of babies and then starting new blogs devoted entirely to said babies, and/or beginning a new job that you actually like and therefore don't have as much creative energy to waste on blogging.
I don't like football very much. I think the space in my brain that has the potential to like football is otherwise occupied by smutty, angst-filled t.v. shows like Gossip Girl and Grey's Anatomy.
It is sweatshirt weather where I am. Who's jealous?
If you watched the Houston vs Texas Tech game as I did in Houston yesterday, you wouldn' say it is boring; it was an awsome win for UOH...
Why is Jo bored? Aren't there enough places to rush off and Hula?
I think my/our(those with bambinos) sense of humor has been relegated to the funny things that babies do. Making fun of societal quirks and ironic comedy has escaped us. We are domesticated. Carolina's bday party was the highlight of my week. Standing on the playground watching kids play was fun, really fun, but not Bloggy worthy. Sorry I have nothing to offer. I can't even come up with something witty about my lack of wit.
allow me to comment on bullet point number 4 if you will. i too am keen on the footy ball. after months and months of baseball tonight and web gems, finally a reprieve. it is much welcomed. the saturday games are much more to my liking as well. although there are some definite drawbacks to the college gameday. glaringly obvious is Herbstreet's apparent desire to sleep with tim teabow. a close second is his perpetual hard on for the rest of the squad. and lou holtz was kind of acceptable for the first few years, but now the little old frail grandpa posing as a quasi sports journalist has run its course. it wouldnt be so bad if he didnt honestly believe and subsequently try to convince everyone else that notre dame was going to win every game they play. but all in all my sunday mornings are quite delightful once the commentary is out of the way and the day is usually filled with entertaining games back to back to back.
i can also confirm bullet point number 9. well, the first half at least. i am quite certain about neals sister, and her being named qwen, but now im all confused on how to spell it. this may change everything.
i havent worn a sweatshirt in a year and a half.
I have a sister named Gwynne, a daughter named Amanda, and have also not showered since Friday.
Check out my pages for little Amanda on Zhanzuo, Bebo, Orkut, Skyrock, Ning, & Elgg.
We will begin sponsoring links on these pages. The Doctor says our relavency scores are high and click through rates are in the top percentile for her age group (3Days), so we should expect her to perform well organically. But we figure, she needs anything for a leg up in this town.
Or I may leave that all up to Angie and hope that I get a skype, call, or email, between naps.
Best...Neal
Congrats Neal!
Your wife has lost 15% of her sanity by having a child and you now will get less sleep and get sick more often!
I kid, I kid.
I will check your Elgg pages for sure. Have you thought about doing any PPC campaigns for your pages? I can help you with that and perhaps we can get that CTR way up and get a great ROI. We can also optimize your keywords so that we are getting focused results.
I hate that I know those words.
congrats neal...great news. daughters are fantastic. until they are teenagers. or so I've heard.
does anybody know anything about P90X? I am slightly embarrassed to be asking, but slightly intrigued/curious.
my dog weighs 11 pounds. maybe 10.
teaching and teachers are great.
yes daughters are great. to all of you who mistakenly had boys instead, better luck next time.
p90x not only gets you ripped but also gives you a better hair style and makes you tan as anyone can plainly see from the before and after pictures. so if youre on the white side of life and still rockin' the side spike, then this is the product for you.
i just got something called an "instant message" from my friend 2 floors down from me. i didnt know what was happening. it was my first one. i thought that if i clicked on it i was going to get a virus or something. but i took the chance and it was relatively benign. other than the usual smack talk that has become normal banter between us. that aside, my point is that i feel with this new-found aspect of computer technology ive hit my pinnacle for at least another year or so. i can only assume that what joff and neal are discussing is some sort of uber internet scheme with lots of points and clicks involved. im happy that amanda is scoring well organically (my favorite line on this blog to date by the way) but i have no idea what that means. things were a bit easier before all this technology. but i still love technology, but not as much as you see.. always and forever...
