This is Madness. THIS IS JEFF"S BODY!!!

Man, I cannot shake this illness. This is day 4 and it seems that the foreign elements are lodged in my nasal passages like a group of hairless Spartans. I believe in the end that the Persian horde which is my immune system will win the day.

I think the illness is affecting my prophetic dreams. I haven't slept a full night since i got sick. Also in response to mythbusters, I think that they need to work on the myth about spiders crawling in your mouth while you sleep. Think about it, basically the show would consist of the two hosts arguing about who was going to fall asleep in the room full of spiders. I hope it would be the one with the mustache. I bet that it would deter spiders, like women, from getting near your mouth.

So, I read an article in Newsweek "The Gospel According to Protheo" about how Americans are very spiritual but no nothing about religion. So, I thought to myself and said "I wonder if I can list all the books of the bible in order." Now keep in mind I had not done this since probably 8th grade in confirmation class. When you are getting your degree in religion from a Baptist affiliated institution it is assumed you know this stuff I guess. Perhaps they should rethink their strategy.

Anyway, I got through about a third of the old testament before I started to get mixed up in my order. After Lamentations things got really interesting. All those minor prophets and their short books. Hosea and Joel really messed me up. So I did pretty bad on my first run through of the old testament.

I figured the new testament would be cake. I steamrolled through the list and when I finished I looked down and I was like...hmmmm....my list looks off. Sure enough I had forgotten both Timothy's. Silly me, Timothy of all books, honestly! I love the Timothy's, I can't believe I forgot them.

Anyway, if you read this, my challenge for you, is for you to see how well you do and then post your results.

Anyway, I am out. I need to send the Persian horde some supplies

yeah, all those blond, hairless greeks out there. that speak the queen's english. nice that xerxes was brazilian though. also had some issue with them being remembered in "the pages of history" ??? wouldn't it have been scrolls at that point? lots of people have been asking for actual history books about 300 at work, i think that they are going to be dissapointed. comic books are much more exciting than history books.

so many allusions to "300"...do I need to go see that movie?

-sorry you're sick.

-how is it possible that MATT has so many opinions about television? I thought he didn't even own a tv, much less CABLE!

-"books of the bible challenge" = I refuse to take part on theological grounds. I could go into detail outlining issues of canonization policies...just kidding. I will try when I have time to breathe/think. Busy down here. lots of BBQ to eat and southern words to pick up.

cheers ya'll

joff, dont worry about the old testament, its so old. does anyone still read it anyways? you got through most of the new. ist all good. you were confirmed? dude, what are you worring about. can you say predestined. relax, virgins a plenty are waiting for you on one of your many planets. i really think the mormans and the muslims should get toghether on that one. you couldnt keep the suicide bombers away from sighning up.

i too refuse to take part in proving my lack of bible knowlege though. but i do know however, that the book of job is considered the oldest, which one would think in the papyrus of history should make it first. also i think that mark is the oldest of the new testament, so how did matthew sneak in there first. a good question for biff, jesus' childhood friend.

a quick shout out to angie who had knee surgery today. which is quite possibly the most disgusting thing ive ever seen on matt tv. im told that neal got to watch part of it. kudos for not passing out.

yeah, that guys mustach is a for sure way to not get laid. at least hes bald.
